Ranked among the best with Camping.Info Award 2026

The Camp MondSeeLand campsite in Tiefgraben-Mondsee is regarded as one of the best camp-sites in Europe. For many years we have ranked highly among European camp-sites.  At the Camping.Info Award 2026 we achieved excellent positions, with a Top 4 campsite in Europe ranking and Top 2 camp site in Austria. Many thanks to all our guests for the excellent ratings!

After the annual test by ADAC and ANWB, this year we were awarded 4.5 stars and rated as excellent. We are delighted with this award and the rating ‘ADAC Tip 2026’ with 4.5 stars. This award is given to campsites which get very good ratings in the ADAC and ANWB Camping guides 2026.

We just spent four days camping at this beautiful campground. Two adults, one child, and two dogs felt right at home here. The grounds are lovely, very clean, and the restrooms are exemplary. The staff is very friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy their work—it’s really wonderful! Our four-legged friends also had a great time using the dog shower and the beautiful dog run. It’s also great that everything is right on your doorstep. The beautiful Mondsee lake, grocery stores, and a hardware store—everything is right there. All in all, I can say it was a truly wonderful stay. We’d love to come back!

Perfect
We didn’t understand either German or English, but that wasn’t a problem at all because the staff at the front desk are very friendly and help with any questions.
We got a really great spot for our tent—right on the edge, which is much more convenient than in the middle of the campground, Z10.

We were especially happy that there’s a free refrigerator and the pool is free, too (which was a real lifesaver in that heat while camping). We were also able to wash our clothes in the washing machine. There are also coffee machines with really delicious coffee.

We really liked everything, and now we’d love to come back for a longer stay.
We also had electricity at our site. I’m not sure if that was mentioned on the website—I certainly didn’t notice it. We were really happy about that because we hadn’t expected it at all. That was really great.

The location of our site was also just fantastic.
There were other people with dogs there, but I didn’t hear a single dog that was in any way disruptive. So nobody bothered us at all; it was quiet at night—everything was great (we were there with a 4-year-old child).

Plus, the restrooms and showers were very clean (by the way, the showers are free too 🤩).

It’s definitely good value for the money 👌🧡

A 10-day vacation at Camp Mondseeland
A fantastic, well-maintained campground that has everything you could want and plenty to offer children as well.

We stayed there for 4 days before travelling on to Croatia. We liked it so much that we stopped there again on the way back. Everything is very clean and well maintained, highly recommended with dogs
